Weekend Bucket List May 12 – 14

The Marlboro Day Festival & Parade is hosted on the 2nd Saturday in May from 10 am to 3pm! The Festival starts out with a parade down Main Street from 10am to 11am, kicking off the festival along Governor Oden Bowie Drive with tons of fun, delicious food trucks, unique sales vendors, kids rides & activities, and free live family-friendly entertainment! Join us for a day of celebration!

Join a kid-friendly, animal-themed tour of the exhibition A Splendid Land: Paintings from Royal Udaipur. Find animals hiding in the brush, elephants that are pets, and horses with swivel ears. Mary Mulcahy, curatorial assistant, and Debra Diamond, Elizabeth Moynihan Curator for South and Southeast Asian Art, will lead this interactive tour.

Join MD Glass Creations as they guide you through the process of making your very own stained glass blue crab suncatcher! These are fun and easy to make. You will grind, foil and solder your project. The crabs will be pre-cut.

Join us at AR Workshop Alexandria for a DIY class to celebrate Mom! Spend some special time crafting together and creating memories. With every adult project, a youth can make a 10x10 mini wood sign for free!

Cultural Tourism DC (CTDC) hosts this event that delivers memorable Washington, DC experiences providing people with opportunities to enjoy and learn about the District of Columbia's neighborhood Embassy Open Houses, Passport DC. The US FreedomWalk hosts a walk/volksmarch in conjunction with Passport DC's Embassy Open Houses.
